It was day two of the baby girl's fever. Last night was a rough one. I think we both slept in 10 minute increments.
Today she rocked, nursed, and slept with me all day long.
Which also gave us an interesting insight into jealousy. When the baby girl is sick the big girl is.not.permitted.to.touch.the.mama. In fact, the big girl gets pushed away if she comes within reach of the mama. Not my rules, mind you, but the rules set by the baby girl.
I wonder why the jealousy rages so hot with the fever.
Anyway...around 4:30 PM the fever finally broke and she walked about the house for the first time today. Right now as I type she's wandering and playing. What a change from just a few hours ago!
